Electronics / PCB Manufacturing

PCB fab, SMT or hand assembly, programming, test fixtures and packaging – manufacturing support that sits next to the electronics design, not a separate factory conversation. Prototype batches through low and higher volume as the product and supplier fit allow.

Discuss a board build

A released Gerber is not a released product.

Fabrication, assembly, programming and test have to match the enclosure, harness and field duty. We manufacture and support PCBs with exclusive fab partners and SMT plus hand assembly – so bring-up issues feed the design, and production notes leave with the boards.

PCB fabrication

Boards from our exclusive PCB suppliers – typically 1 to 12 layers – with stack-up, finish and panelisation chosen for the assembly method and volume, not only for a quick proto quote.

SMT and hand assembly

Hand assembly for prototype and early batches to expose process issues early. Supplier SMT lines when volume moves from tens to thousands. SMT, through-hole, single or double sided, press-fit and fine-pitch as the design requires.

Programming and test

Board programming by hand or through fixtures. Functional checks, AOI/X-ray where the process needs them, and custom test fixtures when volume justifies them. Bring-up stays with the same team that designed the electronics when that is in scope.

Sourcing, rework, packaging

Component sourcing, stencil, rework, final assembly and packaging so finished boards leave ready for the enclosure or the next CM step – not as loose panels with tribal knowledge still in the studio.

What a manufacturing engagement covers

1

Release package

Gerbers, BOM, pick-and-place, stencil, assembly notes and revision control the shop can use without a call.
2

Fab and assembly route

Layer count, finish, panel, SMT vs hand, and which steps stay in-house vs supplier for this volume.
3

Programming and fixtures

Factory flash, test points, jig design and pass/fail criteria matched to the product - not a one-off bench script.
4

Yield and rework loop

Defect causes fed back into layout, BOM or process before the next spin or volume step.
5

Handoff or next volume

Use this page for builds. Use electronics design for the schematic and layout.

Circuit architecture, PCB layout and DFT belong on electronics design. This page is fabrication, assembly, programming, fixtures and packaging. Many programs need both. Engage when you have a board ready to build, a pilot that needs repeatable assembly, or a volume step that requires SMT and formal test – EV power and vehicle electronics included when that is the product.

Discuss a board build

No. Electronics design covers schematic, layout and design-for-test. This page covers fab, assembly, programming, fixtures and packaging. Programs often use both; the pages stay separate so manufacturing scope is clear.

We start with prototype and low-volume hand or SMT builds, and scale through supplier SMT when demand and design readiness support it. Mass capacity depends on the product, materials and supplier – we do not claim every board is a high-volume line on day one.

Yes. We can build early boards here and package the release for your CM, or support your CM from the start. See supplier and CM handoff.

Compliance is product- and market-specific. We design and manufacture with certification requirements in view when they are in the brief; a manufacturing run alone is not a certificate.
